The event concluded with Dennis Flad, Chairman of the CVA Enterprise Blockchain Working Group, moderated a panel themed “Data Monetization in the New Economy of Movement.” The panelists, spanning from academia, federal transportation to the technology industry, expertly addressed data exchange and monetization in mobility platforms while analyzing future opportunities and challenges.

Vitus Ammann, Senior Advisor for Digital Transformation,  SBB Swiss Federal Railways supports management and project teams in the development and digitization of future mobility solutions and leads the Blockchain Network Group within SBB. He holds an MBA from the University of St.Gallen (HSG) and is lecturer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences. His expertise is centered around Customer Insights and Marketing, Digital Transformation and Business & Strategy Development.

Dr. Evangelos Avramakis, Head Digital Ecosystems R&D, Swiss Re, is an internationally renowned advisor and thought leader in the insurance industry. With his work, he pursues interdisciplinary and implementation oriented approaches. Evangelos’ main focus lies on forward-looking market developments, digital ecosystems, omni-channel management and innovative business models. Evangelos is co-author of several publications and is a regular speaker at industry conferences and client events.

Chris Ballinger, CEO and co-Founder, MOBI is responsible for the programming and oversight of a consortium of companies, academic institutions, government agencies and public organizations exploring blockchain and distributed ledger technology to improve mobility, transit, and logistics.

Peter Busch, Product Owner DLT Mobility, Bosch works for the Bosch Mobility Think Tank reporting to the Board of Management of the Bosch Group. He and his team are working on the future Connectivity Strategies for the Mobility Business Units of the Bosch Group and as consultants for the Executive Board.

Dennis Flad, Chairman, Enterprise Blockchain Working Group, Crypto Valley Association, is a thoroughbred entrepreneur and marketeer who has been working for over 20 years in product management, business development and go-to-market of new solutions and innovations in the information technology, payments and software-as-a-service industries. 

Bhaskar Krishnamachari, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California (USC), is also the Director of the USC Viterbi Center for Cyber-Physical Systems and the Internet of Things (CCI). He has expertise in designing algorithms and software for the internet of things, connected vehicles, distributed computing, machine learning, and blockchain technologies. He has co-authored 300 + papers, 2 textbooks, and collectively cited more than 25000 times (per Google Scholar). In 2011, he was listed in MIT technology review magazine’s TR-35 list of top 35 innovators under the age of 35, and in 2015 was named one of Popular Science magazine’s “Brilliant 10”.

Kevin Lally, Vice-President of Board of Directors at CVA is an Irish native with permanent residence in Switzerland, He brings a strong background in computer sciences and business management to the CVA. As a consultant Lally has successfully supported global insurance, investment banking and wealth management institutions, including Zurich Insurance, SIX Group, UBS and Julius Bär, with project management, business analysis, scrum management and requirements engineering services, and has a proven track record of communicating with and coordinating among broad stakeholder groups.

Stéphane Mingot, Head, AdNovum Incubator and Board Member, Cardossier, is a seasoned digital leader with over 20 years of experience in various positions such as innovation, business development and management. As Head of AdNovum Incubator, the innovation lab of AdNovum, he is unlocking the potential of bright ideas and helping companies to make the most of their digital power. He is co-initiator and board member of cardossier, the platform that digitally maps the life cycle of a vehicle on a blockchain.

Eva Oberholzer, Chief Growth Officer, Cardano Foundation is a blockchain enthusiast and expert in customer focused and data driven growth and marketing strategies. As Chief Growth Officer and Member of the Management Board at the Cardano Foundation, she identifies and exploits ways to create quick and sustainable value by deploying next-generation distributed ledger technology, particularly driving the adoption of the Cardano project. 

Tram Vo, co-Founder and COO, MOBI, is a successful interdisciplinary entrepreneur with cross industry experience.  She is Co-founder and COO of MOBI, as well as Founder of DREAM, the Distributed Registry for Entertainment, Art, and Media.  Prior to working in the technology sector, she consulted for global museums, universities, and NGOs such as UNESCO and the J. Paul Getty Trust for two decades, leading highly specialized projects for cultural heritage in the Middle East, North Africa, the US, Europe, and Asia
