MOBI is a nonprofit alliance of many of the world’s largest vehicle manufacturers, along with startups, NGOs, transit agencies, insurers, toll road providers, smart city leaders, and technology companies creating standards in blockchain, distributed ledgers, and related technologies.
At MOBI, we work with forward-thinking companies, governments, and NGOs to make mobility services more efficient, more affordable, greener, safer, and less congested by promoting standards and accelerating the adoption of blockchain, distributed ledger, and related technologies. We believe that blockchain will increasingly impact provision of mobility services by enabling business networks to reduce the cost of coordinating their activities. See MOBI news in our Bulletin Archives and Press Releases.
MOBI working groups explore specific use cases within the mobility industry and establish common means to define, measure, and test quality, performance, and security. Working groups foster adoption and reduce time-to-market, facilitate interchange and interoperability, and reduce risk to integrators and users. Learn about our working groups.
MOBI Members attend our colloquiums to network and brainstorm with organizations who share our vision of greener, safer, and more accessible mobility. Attendees learn about MOBI’s progress and hear ideas from members about the future of mobility. Through the MOBI Grand Challenge, we engage blockchain developers and the public in developing solutions for the future of mobility, in line with MOBI’s initiatives.
