About Thomas
While studying law, Thomas Heilmann worked as a free-lance journalist for several newspapers, daily TV shows and publications. After passing his exam he started his own business which became one of Europe’s leading communication networks, Scholz & Friends. Heilmann was also a co-founder and chairman of several companies and has been been investor in numerous internet startups, such as Mytoys, Xing and Facebook. Since 2015 he is member of the international board of Save the Children. In 2012 he became senator for justice and consumer protection in Berlin over the next 5 years. Heilmann is a Member of Parliament and elected board member of the CDU-Parliamentgroup. He lives with his wife and their four sons in Berlin.
